Minor Arcana Series - Wands: Energy & Action, May 4th 3pm
Take a deep dive and explore the suits of the Tarot!
In a “traditional” deck, the Minor Arcana represent 56 unique messages; in other words they comprise the majority of the cards in a 78 card deck. There’s a lot to work through! Thus, this series will be divided into 4 sections: Pentacles, Swords, Cups, and Wands.
The Minor Arcana Series will explore symbolism and iconography, messages and interpretations of each card, numerology, familial exploration of each of the Tarot court cards (Page, Knight, Queen, King), and explore representations and interpretations from different Tarot decks.
Jump into one or two classes or attend all four ~
(Each class is $25 per class)
Who is this for?
This series is designed for newbies and those just starting to get to know Tarot, but open to everyone who wants to get together and connect with the Minor Arcana.
What do I need to bring?
Just you! But I'd recommend bringing your own deck if you have one and a journal. Browse Ceremonials tarot decks
About Your Facilitator
Hi, I'm Erin! I have a background in philosophy, art history, and communication, and I'm especially fascinated by art and storytelling as powerful means of divination and magic. I picked up my first Tarot deck (Uusi's Pagan Otherworlds) on a whim in Detroit 8 years ago, and I've been studying and reading Tarot ever since. I LOVE talking about Tarot, reading about Tarot, and discovering new decks that offer unique interpretations to the cards. As an Intuitive Tarot reader, I believe that there is no single "right" interpretation for any card, and that you already have the knowledge you need to read Tarot. But studying the cards, finding the deck that speaks to you, and understanding the history and symbolism embedded in each image is not only a fun way to get to know Tarot more deeply, but it can also build your confidence as a reader and expand the messages you see in the cards.
