The Pentacle

Which is also called a pentagram— has been thought of as having protective or powerful magical properties for hundreds of years. The fact that a pentacle can be drawn with one continuous line is sometimes seen as meaningful or mystical. Pentacles are often used as one of the four suits in a tarot deck. 

The five-pointed star is a symbol of the elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Air & Spirit.  Often worn or used as a symbol of protection.  Associated with Earth, the pentacle is a grounding symbol that brings peace and tranquility.  

Use as a charging element on your altar, protection on your door, or as a trivet for your cauldron.
