Take a deep dive and explore the Major Arcana of the Tarot!

Join Erin on a walk through the 22 Major Arcana cards of the Tarot. As we meander along the path of The Fool, we'll discuss the archetypal themes in each card, explore the 3 distinct lines within the Major Arcana, and identify the lessons that these powerful trump cards have for us all.

The Major Arcana cards invite us to reflect on the phases of our lives, and distinct moments along our journey. They are powerful messages in Tarot readings, and understanding their lessons can help us reveal the complexity of our lives and any given situation.

Who is this for?

This class is designed for newbies and those just starting to get to know Tarot, but open to everyone who wants to get together and connect with the Major Arcana. This is an awesome class for those who attended any of Erin's previous Minor Arcana classes as well. All are welcome!

What do I need to bring?

A tarot deck and a journal! We have tarot decks that you can borrow for the class, or you can purchase & browse Ceremonials tarot decks

About Your Facilitator

Hi, I'm Erin! I have a background in philosophy, art history, and communication, and I'm especially fascinated by art and storytelling as powerful means of divination and magic. I picked up my first Tarot deck (Uusi's Pagan Otherworlds) on a whim in Detroit 8 years ago, and I've been studying and reading Tarot ever since. I LOVE talking about Tarot, reading about Tarot, and discovering new decks that offer unique interpretations to the cards. As an Intuitive Tarot reader, I believe that there is no single "right" interpretation for any card, and that you already have the knowledge you need to read Tarot. But studying the cards, finding the deck that speaks to you, and understanding the history and symbolism embedded in each image is not only a fun way to get to know Tarot more deeply, but it can also build your confidence as a reader and expand the messages you see in the cards.

About the space

You will meet in the Moon Studio - 6736 Reynolds Street, on the second floor, right across the street from Ceremonial. Please use the outside staircase.

Please wear comfortable clothing because will be sitting on the floor; chairs and pillows are available.
