These three classes will explore the concept of the Triple Goddess across various mythologies and cultures worldwide. From ancient civilizations to contemporary belief systems, the archetype of the Triple Goddess has manifested in diverse forms, embodying aspects of maiden, mother, and crone. This class will look at the most prevalent Triple Goddesses (Brigid, Hecate, The Fates, and The Morrigan), and examine the symbolism, cultural significance, and evolution of the Triple Goddess archetype across different pantheons.

Class 1, May 9th: Meeting the Maiden - Embracing Youthful Vitality

In this class, we will meet and explore the Maiden Aspect of the Triple Goddess archetype. Our conversations will delve into myths, symbols, and narratives that celebrate youthfulness, innocence, and the blossoming of life. We'll explore how various cultures depict the Maiden, examining the significance of this phase in the Triple Goddess's eternal cycle.

Class 2, June 30th: Welcoming the Mother - Nurturing Creativity and Fertility

In this class, we will explore the transition from Maiden to Mother. We will explore the rich symbolism surrounding fertility, creation, and the sustaining forces of life. Working together, we'll uncover the diverse ways in which the Mother aspect manifests across pantheons and discuss themes of maternity and the creative power inherent in the Mother aspect of the Triple Goddess.

Class 3, July 28th: Greeting the Crone - Wisdom and Transformation

In this final class, we will discover the wisdom-filled realm of the Crone. We will discuss the Crone and how this aspect of the Triple Goddess embodies the culmination of experience, transformation, and the embracing of the aging process. Through the exploration of myths and cultural depictions, we'll unravel the symbolism associated with the Crone. This final class will culminate in a guided meditation and small ritual to honor all three aspects of the Triple Goddess.

Each class is to be purchased separately.

About Your Facilitator

Hi! I'm Jess (she/her), a self-proclaimed Celtic Word Witch, tarot and rune reader, and overall wonderer of the occult world. I am also a local middle school English teacher, ordained as a non-denominational minister, and have attained Reiki level II. The study of Witchcraft has been with me off and on since I was a child, but magick and the call of the Witch brought me back to the path formally nearly four years ago. In the past four years, I have dedicated myself to honing my Word Witch-craft by writing and leading Full and New Moon rituals, crafting crystal and herb intention candles, and studying a variety of paths. In our time together you can expect a mixture of guided discussion, personal anecdotes, and you pursuing your own unique way of understanding and implementing the learning in your own practice. Our goal together will be to both learn from one another and to create an environment of acceptance and inclusivity. I look forward to both leading and earning with you in this class!
